UTENSILS YOU WILL NEED: Nonstick Griddle, Large Glass Skillet Lid, a Large long Grilling Spatula, Large serving platter.

1 LB. Lean Ground Sirloin Beef
4 Bacon Strips (thin sliced)
1 Lg. White Onion
4 Slices of Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 Tsp. each of Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, & Blackened Seasoning (mix together)
1 Tsp. Coarsely Ground Black Pepper
¼ Cup of Low Sodium Soy Sauce

Options: Toasted Sliced Garlic bread ~or~ (2) Lg. French Roll Sliced Buns + 2 Tbs. Real Butter

COLD Fixings: 1 Lg. Beefsteak Tomato, Greek Pepperocini Peppers, (if using buns) Old Fashioned Dill Pickle Slices, Real Mayonnaise.

PRE-PREP: Pre-heat your griddle to high (400 degrees).
Slice Tomatoes & Onions, if using buns butter all sliced sides. Put mixed seasoning into ground beef & mix in well the press the entire pound into a square about 1/2” thick & cut it in half.

COOKING:
Cook bacon until crisp & set aside to be crumbled. Reduce griddle heat to 350 degrees. (if using buns) Grill 2 sliced buttered buns until brown & set aside.
Place both Beef long patties on the griddle brown 1 side, flip beef over & add onions to grill, pour soy sauce on beef & onions, then put cheese slices on beef to melt & cover with glass lid for about 5 minutes. Remove beef patties on to a serving platter cover with foil & place in slightly warm oven. Flip & stir onions to prevent burning, place a lid over onions for about 5 more minutes if needed, or until golden brown & glossy in color, then pour onions over beef on serving platter, sprinkle evenly with crumbles bacon & garnish with fixings.
BUN OPTION: when you remove long patties from grill place each on the bottom ½ of a bun, place on serving platter covered in oven, when onions are done spoon a liberal amount over each patty & place top of bun on, put the rest of the onions in a serving bowl on platter side with Burgers & other fixings (mayo on the side).
